hawk63
If Humboldt keeps running last week, they win by 7. They were only stopped when they started passing the ball. We were commenting on the other side of the field that the coach had been watching Fulmer ball way too much. USJ boys were outsized, overmatched, tired from playing both ways and could not tackle big running backs.
hawk63
I hear from everyone at the game that what you say is right. Had they run a little more they may have scored another touchdown or two. But that would also have given extra posessions to usjs offense. Word is they had trouble watching usjs 2 outside recievers, and that on 3rd and 4th downs they were burned 6 or 7 times by a slot reciever #83 on medium crossing routes were he beat the corners to the corner and turned up field for big plays.
