Stratford vs. Pearl Cohn

My pick is Stratford to win by 3 Tds. Pearl Cohn is not as good as last year team.

If Macon Co. can beat P.C.,Stratford should have no problem with the Firebirds.

Stratford will likely win this game. Pearl Cohn has a lot of players out due to injuries. Stratford's explosive offense will see a lot of young Firebirds this week IMO. The Spartans defense is facing a PC offense that has scored a total of 7 points in the past four games combined.

I wouldn't have predicted this before the season started, but I think Stratford gets their 2nd "W" Friday night at Pearl-Cohn.

This game is going to be a track meet Stratfords offense is full of playmakers, their defense is just not stopping anybody. They are forced to out score people and come up short. PC is struggling on offense this year they have a lot of young talent on the field but they need to grow up faster if they expect to make the playoffs. PC defense is great always like in past years, but they are put in holes because lack of offense and poor special team play. Look for this to be a low scoring game and whoever has the best special team performance wins the contest tonight. PC 16 SHS 12

Stratford won 32-12. Stratford is starting to look better and better by the week. two in a row we off to Whites Creek next week going for the three in a row.

I went to the Stratford/Pearl-Cohn game; the encouraging thing in Stratford's performance was that they won solidly even though Stratford's QB, #12, was a lot less accurate throwing the football than he usually is.

 

 

I also learned that Stratford's scoreboard isn't the only one in Metro with occasional "issues" (LOL); the Pearl-Cohn scoreboard was pretty well useless for the entire 2nd half.
