NASHVILLE ONE VOLLEYBALL will be conducting their first information / open forum meeting on Monday October 13th at 7:30 pm at Lipscomb University Allen Arena.

 

NASHVILLE ONE VOLLEYBALL is the newest club in Middle Tennessee started in partnership with Brandon Rosenthal, head coach Lipscomb University, Tony Howell, assistant coach Belmont University, Ann Mullins, assistant coach Lipscomb University and Jerry Snider, head coach Riverdale HS. Also coaching with the club is Eysha Ambler, assistant coach Tennessee State University and Samantha Sullivan, assistant coach Lipscomb University.

 

The Information meeting will cover the clubs coaching philosophy, mission statement, try-out dates, teams, costs, etc.

Informational meetings regarding the 2009 season

will be held Oct. 6 and Oct. 15 at 6:45 pm at USBA,

1850B General George Patton, Franklin. This meeting is not mandatory, but will provide information for those who've not played club volleyball with us before.

 

 

Registration for try-outs is now open. Please click on the registration button on the left and complete the required information. An on-line membership form with USAV will have to be completed prior to try-outs. You will receive an email when this link becomes available. The early-bird tryout fee is $40; $50 if after October 25. Payment can be made by check or by using Visa or MasterCard through the online payment option found on the registration link.

 

Try-outs will be held at USBA:

12s & under - 11/1 from 9-11:00am and 11/2 from 1-2:30pm

13s - 11/1 from 11:30-1:30pm and 11/2 from 3-4:30pm

14s - 11/1 from 2-4:00pm and 11/2 from 5-6:30pm

15s - 11/8 from 9-11:00am and 11/9 from 1-2:30pm

16s - 11/8 from 11:30-1:30pm and 11/9 from 3-4:30pm

17s & 18s - 11/8 from 2-4:00pm and 11/9 from 5-6:30pm

Since we had such a large number of people at the first informational meeting we have added an additional meeting. Dates and Times are listed below. Even if you have already been apart of Impact, we strongly encourage you to make it to one of the meetings to hear about all the changes taking place.

Also, remember that tryout registration is now available online. Due to Fall Break and the additional informational meeting we have extended the $40 registration fee deadline to October 26th. After that date, the tryout fee will be $50.

 

Opening Day:

A-Game would like to invite all of you to the Opening Day Celebration taking place on November 1st from 8:30-12:30pm. I have

attached a flyer regarding the festivities that will be place.

RC (Rutherford County) Juniors

 

We are having an parent informational meeting this Sunday, Oct. 26th, for those who are interested in trying out for RC Juniors.

 

It will be in the Blackman High School main gym at 4:00.

 

We will be having tryouts Sunday, Nov. 9th, at Blackman High School.

Girls age 10-14 will tryout from 2-4:00.

Girls age 15-18 will tryout from 4:30-6:30.

Impact will have an additional tryout for Impact NORTH at Hendersonville HS

 

Register for Placement Try-outs early or at the door.

The informational meeting will start at 11:00am on Sunday November 16th with Try-outs immediately

following. The try-outs will last until 2:00. We will determine teams and email everyone their position on a team.

We will have playing opportunities for girls in 4th grade to 12th grade.

Everyone will be placed on a team.

Every team will play in 4 Local tournaments. There will be no travel involved unless a team would all agree to play in an out of town tournament.

 

The first tournament scheduled would be late January or early February.

RC (Rutherford County) Juniors

 

We are having an parent informational meeting this Sunday, Oct. 26th, for those who are interested in trying out for RC Juniors.

It appears that fans and parents are now getting in the swing of looking at this web and are asking where the nearest location might be or have been for "Club for Middle schoolers"which is a site down the Forum page. Its also taken care of by the "Queen of the Dig", Play4Keeps, who digs up all of this information for fans and parents. Coming up in the next few months, mostly in July are numerous VB clinics and Team camps at Colleges/Universities all thru the state. July must be designated as "Volleyball CC Month(Thats Clinic and Camp)". From information, last year was one of the largest CC July Months in sometime with East Tennessee State, Cumberland University, Carson Newman, Freed hardeman, Lipscomb University is having free clinics during the year, Belmont and I amsure many have been missed that could be posted on here. There is no shortage of available places for individuals, teams, etc to improve skill levels and its at a site "Near You">
