Are all-region picks based on position? Are a certain number of players selected per region? How many? If there are several impressive quarterbacks, can only one be selected all-region?

QB, #12, Craig Davis

LB, #15, Grant Dew

DL, #40, Cody Chipman

Punter, #35, Stephen Cessack

 

I'll second King and Brown from Manassas and throw in their QB as well.

 

It's been so long since I've seen Fayette and we haven't seen TCA yet.

the coaches from the region select the all region players. Not sure how they will do it in this region but what i have seen in other regions is that they select a region mvp, an offensive and defensive mvp, and then 1st, 2nd, and honorable mention at the various positions.

 

In general to reward more kids, if a player is one of the mvps then he would not be listed as 1st team etc.

 

that way if you have several deserving players at the same position in a region they can all be rewarded.
