Did anyone get to watch the game? I was there and very disappointed in the effort that the boys gave as well as the lack of effort from the coaching staff. The starting line up had a combined 17 points and no rebounding. The teams combind efforts was a total of a whooping 30 points for the game. The lack of knowledge for the game was obvious in the coaching staff. They had terrible offensive efforts as well as not chosing the right type of plays for the defense. (Pick and roll offense when the other team was running a zone and they didn't set very good picks) The team as a whole played very poor defense, which is a reflection of the coaching staff. They were four feet off of the player and made #44 looked look like a super star (offensive and deffensive rebounding) Truly I think Coaches Yaden and Jeffers need to go back to the lower levels of coaching so maybe they might be able to gain a little success there as well as a few wins.

Just give them time, a coach cannot be asked to come in with no off season practices or anytime with any of the football players and come out running. If the players don't look like they know what they are doing then it is probably because they don't! It's a new system and the players will have to buy in to the system which isn't an easy thing to ask. All they can do is work hard and hustle and eventually this team will work it out and come together. This coaching staff seems to have so much pressure on it and they haven't had anytime to work with the players. This is a team with a lot of talent, and coaches who proved they can win at a lower level. Give them some time to prove they can win on this stage.
