Hey mcfan......... how would the fundamental style of Lipscomb stack up to Boliver should we meet in Murfreesboro? I am assuming that we would not want to get into a track meet.

Lipscomb would have to melt a lot of time on each possession. Bolivar is so quick and athletic at every position. Lipscomb being as fundamentally sound as they are might be able to milk the clock. Lipscomb would need to play like the 4th quarter of the Marshall Co. game. This isn't saying anything bad about Lipscomb either, Bolivar is just that good.

 

If Lipscomb came out hot and doesn't rush things, then they might could be in it late. Lipscomb has that will to win so I wouldn't see them getting blown out.

This best way to beat Bolivar is to score more points than them. Sorry, I couldn't resist saying that.

 

Seriously though, I think you have to put the pressure on Bolivar. They came out and hit shots early and pressured Marshall Co. If you could jump out early and make them feel a little pressured, then you might could beat them. Maybe get a decent lead early then slow the game down.
