Today's Games:

 

3:00 Game

 

Cannon County 4

Livingston 1

 

5:00 Game

 

Cannon County 9

Macon County 3

in 10 innings

 

This was a great game by both teams!!!

 

7:00 Game Championship

 

Dekalb county 15

Cannon County 0

 

Congrats to Coach Danny Bond and Dekalb County for winnning the Regular Season and Tournament Titles.

 

Also Congrats to Cannon County for advancing to there first Region Apperance in School history coming threw the loser's bracket.

 

 

Great Tourney this year with alot of great players and great games.

any predictions on the games tonight?

 

Dekalb should beat Greenbrier.

 

Goodpasture Should beat Cannon.

 

They did...2-1. And everybody has a chance to win. That's why you show up and play. However, Goodpasture should beat DeKalb by however many they want.

 

Y'all better get that pitcher back...and quick. Otherwise, you'll be paying to get in at State, just like us. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

No Doubt Goodpasture is the fav to win...seeing how they are a private school

but i was just going by the seeding try not to get too upset!

but just a couple stats dekalb beat cannon 15-0 after 4

Goodpasture beat cannon 7-0 in 7

but i dont think dekalbs pitcher has done a bad job at all and with a great d to back her up

i belive her era throughout the district tourney and the first game of regions was under 1.0

If you are dogging Dekalbs pitcher which it sounds like to me you are 5 sport dad, then that does not say alot about Greenbrier. Dekalbs #1 pitcher is gone for the year with a acl tear and she is not coming back. Norton has done a tremendous job for the tigerettes. to hold a good greenbrier team to 4 hits is not shabby for a medicore pitcher as you say. You did not say that but your thoughts are in your words. Well i do think greenbrier is a very good team and very well coached. Best of luck to you guys in your new region. Yes goodpasture is alot better on paper but like you said before thats why we show up and play the game becasue games arent won on paper. See you guys in the sub state. Go Tigerettes.

      Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.

      Per usual, we'll be hard to beat in the regular season, I'm sure. It's the post season that I'm more worried about, specifically the coaches. Maybe they'll be able to make some adjustments that will keep the momentum in our favor. How's Grays recovery coming along?

      Something don’t add up here a college coach is not going to turn away a good player they need just because they didn’t get along with their high school coach

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
