Coach Sytia Messer had named two assistants to her staff. Dee Bell, 34, most

recently head coach for Martin Methodist and formerly with Maryville College

and Reinhardt College, has some pretty impressive stats. Bett

Shelby, 26, most recently with Stetson as assistant coach/recruiting

coordinator and formerly with East Carolina Univ. has a proven

record as a recruiter. Coach Messer is still looking for 3rd assistant

and hopes to have that position filled by Oct. 16th, when official

practice begins.
