Rankings for 1A Region 4 District 8 Basketball

So no out standing players? Sounds like a good bunch, can't wait till season to come!!

We have one player returning who had all district honors, he was 1st team as a sophmore. I wouldn't say we have any outstanding players, but a good group of guys who if they play together, can get the job done.

we shall see.. from what isaw last year, yall have a returning point guard and post.. and a few good three point shooters.. the point guard is a more of a driver and fast.. JC is slow i hear maybe ya'll will toy around with them!

JC is going to be tough. I don't think we will be toying around with anyone. No game in district or region will be easy.

Very true.. Nov. 17 will tell us who the better team is.. IM pullin gville on this one.. Too fast for the slo JC team..

I think our FCS squad should be at the top of the preseason rankings. We did lose 1 (Nathan Boyd) but bring back a great senior class. (Parker Teeter, Lee Maasen, Hardie Sorrels, and Issac Wilson). Parker and Lee will be out until football is over. We will be short handed until football is over but don't play a district game until Dec 15th vs Watertown. 9 of our 19 players do play football.

 

TC and the Gmen will shoot it out for the 2 and 3 spots with Watertown and RBS following those 2.

 

I also hope we can do well in the region. We also get a taste of Clay Co and Pickett Co in Dec and again in Jan.

Yeah friendship is the top team in the district no doubt about it.. I think people are underestimating the tigers too thoo... They did lose 5 seniors and only 3 started.. And i believe the startes that i know of for the tigers are a better team than last year just by knowing there individual abilities.. During the summer camp, 1st camp they went 5-3 to good teams and still played with them.. And second camp some players went to FCA camp & 2 got hurt and didnt play in camp, making the under class men step up and play in the varsity level, they did pretty good and they went 4-4... Should be a good season.. Friendship is yet the team to beat though.. Good luck to all!
