For the benefit of those looking at this post and the parents who supported these schools during the year, I am missing the Coaches of three schools which I would like to enter. Coache who make it to a State Tournament is a great honor. How many coaches in schools have made it to a State event in any sport? Longivity to do it more than one time, and there are those on this list, mean so much its hard to describe. To come to this event, a players and Coaches event, just recognizes hard work against a lot of very good players and schools. Your school is now recognized as earning a spot in the 2009 State Tournament and it will be there forever. This is a one time a year event for these athletes and Coaches. For those coaches who held the some 55 tournaments during the year, you have had a big part in making the 2009 Season the Success it has been. Attending this event by each schools fans is a prominent way of recognizing all of this and its participants. Yes it is a State Wide event and takes some travel but it is a one time a year event. Have a great time in the BORO.

Summertown is in middle Tennessee, just a few miles north of Loretto. Both schools are in Lawrence County. Summertown's coach is Steve Keeton. Good luck to both teams. Go Lady Eagles!

Coach Jinx Cockerham's Lady Irish will be making there 15 consecutive appearance in the State Volleyball tournament. The Irish beat GPS at the Father Ryan fieldhouse this afternoon. Congrats ladies.

Waiting on the Baylor-St agnes, Ensworth Briarcrest finals to finish the field...
