Brawl in the Hall-Viking Hall-Bristol TN

We have made it another year, and The Tennessee High ikings are hosting the 2nd Annual Brawl in the Hall on Saturday January 9th 2010. Same format as last year with the Brckets. TN Teams vs Out of State Teams.

 

Any news on any returning Medalsts from last year. Dobbyns Bennett took i think 7 medals home and 3 were Seniors(i think)

 

 

Please give any thoughts of this Tournament, and always Wrestlers BE SAFE an HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately for Parkland, the weather forecasts a small chance of snow flurries and that is about all it takes for them to release school early or cancel classes. If school is cancelled or released early, teams are not allowed to travel/compete. The largest tourney in NC was cancelled 1 1/2 hours before weigh ins the week before Christmas due to the forecast of a chance of snow. It rained.... Teams from out of town and out of state could only turn around and go home.

This is an individual Tournament

Ok, so what teams WILL be there? How many?

I dont know the exact number of teams, but form TN DB< Elizabethton, Farragut**, Mo West**, Ootelwah(whatever its spelled LOL)

VA/NC Schools----Abingdon, Patrick Henry**, and Blacksburg

 

**=Might be coming, but not sure yet. There are plenty more teams, but these teams above are teams that were there last year, and are coming back. I cant remember the other teams lol

Morriestown West is in the GIT (Greenville Invitational Tournament) according to their website schedule.

 

This tourney is not exactly the talk of the town huh?

I'm pretty sure the dual meet comment was sarcasm ,and this tournament is a joke NC. For real...back out while you still can.
