Wow I guess Science Hill must have dropped the program this year, budget cuts!!!!!! Don't worry MatCat most still have a hard time understanding that Tennessee doesn't stop at Knoxville. They always seem to have a problems looking into the sun to see what is coming out of the east. The sun will always rise and so will The Hill.

Not bad so far for the Hill, these five are the whole team this year. No one left behind.

What are the start times for Friday and Saturday for Region 1 in Kingsport?

The only seeds are teams that were top 4 the previous year and won their region this year--so Bradley and Clarksville were the only two seeds. After that, the other six region winners draw for the remaining lines, and then runners-up draw for positions in the opposite half from their own winners (so Cleveland was forced to the bottom half and Hendersonville to the top half). Thanks silverpie I guess we could over think the whole process to the point of DNA tests

Can someone explain the seeding process. Why was Science Hill placed in the Bradley side of the bracket and Cleveland not? Is it taken into account of last years finishes and not this years head to head matches? Science Hill beat Cleveland at the Cleveland Duels and placed higher than Cleveland in the Fandetti-Richardson Brawl. Doesn't that warrant a better placement for Science Hill. Over all good Tournament Congrats to Bradley, Cleveland, Science Hill, and Collierville.

The Hill qualifying all 14 for State is highly possible. Even the weak spots in this line up are expected to qualify. Has this been done in Region 1 before?

my definite picks are: 1 science hill and jefferson county 2 karns and morristown west 3 maryville and seymour 4 bradley and cleveland(STRONG) 5 mt. juliet and cookeville(STRONG) 6 Ravenwood and Franklin(STRONG) 7 Hendersonville and most likely clarksville 8 Cordova and most likely collierville Morristown West is in Region 1.

I want to thank you for a good tournament, looked like everything was will planned and ran. I would like to see more for our JV and Girls like this tournament. I was impressed with the turn out you had for the girls, proves that they are building.

Science Hill has had to pull out of Soddy due to weather but has worked it out to go to Greeneville I. T. Any word on who will attend GTI

Rutherford County schools are closed so I know Siegel won't be coming down. Not sure if that is a county rule or a Nolan (principal) rule, so Blackman may not be there either... Also heard that Coffee (Tullahoma), Hamilton, and Bradley County schools are closed tomorrow as well. Johnson City Schools are closed tomorrow, so Science Hill may have to drop out Science Hill is not going as of 10am, instead they are going to Greeneville Inv.

Greenback (TN) has been added. They will wrestle Friday Night with Science Hill, Hewitt-Trussville, and Christian Brothers in a four way.

Any information on who is coming this year or the Brackets

I know that Science Hill, CBHS, and Hewitt-Trussville (AL) were to match up Friday night before Fandetti with the hope of another stepping up for a four way. Has H-T dropped out or is it still a 3 way?

Do your home work before you trash Tennessee Wrestling and/or Coach Mann. I might agree with you as to the over all quality of wrestling in this Tournament but take away nothing from these young men. Coach Mann has built a good program at DB and they are still moving up. Lets see where VA wrestling (Abingdon) falls after they compete in the Fandetti-Richardson Brawl at Science Hill or Bob Jones because they both will be there. Sorry I had to mention this under Indian Classic postings but back off Tennessee Wrestling and our Coaches.

January 16, Fandetti-Richardson Brawl (Science Hill, Johnson City TN)

We are hearing a lot about the boys of Middle and West TN and nothing about the East. Nothing new we always seem to stay in the shadows. I think we like it that way. The sun rises here first so does anyone have a opinion on the guys coming out of the sun?
