Lots of TN lax alumni having a great season for the 5-1 and #22 ranked University of Tennessee lacrosse program. Tennessee competes in the MCLA (non varsity) national conference.

You don't have to go to the northeast to play ncaa quality lacrosse. A varsity quality program is in the state at UT along with the great program coach Waters is building at Sewanee (NCAA Div 3).

Check out our roster at http://www.volslax.com. Half the team is from TN and many players that originally left TN for varsity programs transferred to UT for a more balanced college experience.

A few examples:

John Wilson: Ravenwood - Gettysburg transfer

Kevin Coll: Ravenwood - Mount Saint Mary's transfer

Mike Kinsey: Ravenwood - Air Force transfer

A few of the players that came right to UT:

Jack Cleary: Centennial

Chris McDonald: Houston

John Honan: Houston

David Catterton: Brentwood

Sam Kachline: McCallie

Patrick Stewart (HS AA): MUS

David Ruben: MUS

Patrick Hudson: Centennial

John Porter: Franklin

Nathan Xander: Cookeville

and many, many others...

Additional TN varsity transfers to be mentioned in the next couple months.

UT also has other ncaa Div 1-3 transfers not from TN.
