wtnsportsfan
Purple, I see where you said Central lost to Ripley, so does that record count against the district record? I wouldn't think it would since they are in opposite divisions of the district. Not all teams will play the each other from opposite ends so I was just wondering how that works. They play Ripley again...Covington twice and Haywood three times (once in a tournament that wouldn't count) but they don't play Crockett County at all...I would think those games would count in some way but then again this is the first year I have even really kept up with high school baseball... wtnsportsfan
Do all teams come together to play in one district tournament or is there basically two tournaments with the winners from each coming together at the end?
Purple & Gold Standard
Obion Central lost at Dyersburg 15-2....D-burg scored 8 in the first after OC had taken a 1-0 lead in the top half of the inning... Central falls to 8-10 and either 0-3 or 0-4 in D13AA action... Central committed 7 errors in the game....Dyersburg is too good to do that against and expect to compete....The two will play again tomorrow at Troy.....
