Rhea Co. vs. Walker Valley

Rhea County beat Walker Valley 4-3 tonight. Chelsea Watson drove in 2 runs in the 1st inning to help the Lady Eagles take a 2-0 lead. WV tied the game @ 2-2, and then took the lead in the top of the 7th 3-2. Two freshmen lead Rhea back in the bottom of the seventh when Hanna Manley dove in the tying run, then Whitney Thompson knocked in the winning run to make the Lady Eagles 2-0 in district play.

We have Bradley tomorrow before heading to Soddy Thursday (not looking forward to that one). We will enjoy this while we can.

Rhea played a good game tonight. The center fielder for Rhea was the difference maker tonight. Two excellent catches. Both Freshmen pitchers did a great job, especially with the inconsistent strike zone.
