Franklin stands at 2-10 in the district but they have beaten two top teams in tennesee, Oakland and the #3 team in the state Mt. Juliet. Franklin maybe saving all their district wins for the tounament coming up. They might pull a ravenwood and become hot all the sudden and end up in the state tournament. Looks like the coach for franklin is all the sudden a great coach after beating Mt. Juliet, looks like the kids are believing in him and laying down bunts when they need to. It will be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out for franklin.

Talked to a friend about the Franklin-Mt. Juliet game last night, he said Franklin played pretty well and broke out of their hitting slump. Pretty impressive win for Franklin, Mt. Juliet is the #79 team in the country. Hopefully there hitting will carry into the district tournament. What are the district match-ups next week?

No one cares about the two cellar dwelling teams playing one another. What everyone should be talking about is the Independence vs. Ravenwood series that starts today. After a long regular season both these teams come in 11-1 in district play each losing to Brentwood once and sweeping the others. Independence is the defending tournament champs so they look to capture the school's first regular season crown.

Pitching- Advantage INDY- Miller, Toscano, and Wilson are the best trio in the district.

Hitting- Advantage INDY- Lee Brothers lead the way for a formidable offense.

Speed- Advantage Ravenwood- Those boys are always fast on the basepaths

Coaching- Even- Coach Moore and Coach Kirby are the best two coaches in the county.

Prediction- Indy wins 2 out 3.

indy eagle it seems that all you will pay anymind to is indy.....take off the blinders buddy there are other teams in the district and if your not careful franklin could get hot after the big win over mount juliet and take the district tournement from your precious eagles..... because as the rebels showed on friday night they can play with the best of them...seems the rebels are finally buying into the coach's system....its good to see a solid system finaly come together

Oliver Glaser pitched for Mt. Juliet, he is a senior who has saw very little action this year for the Bears. So he may not be a JV pitcher but he was not the best the Bears could have thrown. Mt. Juliet had 3 errors and 1 homerun. I know plenty so worry about your program that is headed to shambles.

There will be a day coming soon where the sun doesn't shine on the eagles. I have heard through the grapevine that there is a new school being built that will split the Indy Nation in the near future. If and when that times comes, with the talent pool depleted, I look forward to reading your post.
