What is the Silverdale situation ?

I have heard rumors they were not going to have a team,but they are now....Seems that Notre Dame was supposed to have a game with them during the season (when the schedule was made out months ago), but Silverdale has opted to not play Notre Dame now (which has left a blank week in ND's early part of the schedule, since Sequatchie County opted to not play ND as scheduled as well).....Anyone know the deal ? Who has games with them now ?

After making a good run last season, that would be a big change. Heard they lost a top player to Signal Mtn, but with their nice new facilities, that's too bad.

Don't know about a player going to Sig mtn. but there keeper is now at CCS and she was a big difference maker for them.

Definitely a rebuilding year for Silverdale. Rumors to the contrary, there never was any danger of their not fielding a team. They have a new coach and have lost a ton of players, including the aforementioned keeper. They had a successful team camp at Redoubt with an assistant from Lee, and are looking forward to the rebuilding process. This is from a friend who has two daughters on the team - one college bound next year.

Just wish they had not cancelled the Notre Dame game with them this season..they gave ND a decent run last year during the playoffs (although the field conditions were pretty dismal, which may have leveled the game out some)...
