after 3 games the dust has settle on the memphis high school programs. One upset, which was not really an upset because of talent and great coaching -ridgeway upset of whitehaven. Otherwise, the order was predictable. the major programs are whitehaven, upcoming Ridgeway, mitchell, melrose and wooddale. middle programs are trezevant,craigmont on the rise, the reign is over for white station, fairley youthfulness and suprisingly lookout for hillcrest. the surburban teams are pretty much the same with MUS, CHBS and surprisingly Briarcrest who will fall to speed. East and Kingsbury are talented teams that may surprise you. Especially Kingsbury if the qb played a little more team ball.

I wouldn't put the final nail in the coffin on White Station just yet. They are suffering from having alot of youth. But They are also making improvements, and little by little getting some things figured out. Otherwise, I think you pretty much called it. I don't see much change on what the area football has to offer. It looks like Millington might be on the way to a better year than last. Ridgeway has come back to be a factor. MUS is off from last year, but still probably the best Div II school from the area. Briarcrest might be better than last year, but as you pointed out, they lack speed.
