Here we go again! Looks like it should be another thriller of a game. This game will be a real test of defensive pressure! I look for Moore County to try to take the Curtner girls out of their rythym, while keeping a lot of pressure on the ball and a hand in the shooter's face. Moore County has too many play makers for Forrest to guard. I like Moore County by 12.

[/quote Well you are right here we go again for the 4th time this year! This is always a good match up dont under estimate the Lady Rockets! The Curtner sisters is not all we have even though they are our leader scores we have been playing some good team ball lately and just like you say shut down the Curtner sisters we will play some defense and stay with Rachel Garland and Heather Vann dont think you will make it out to easy our Lady's will put up a fight GO Lady Rockets!

Trev, I definitely have to agree with you on this one!!! Forrest does have a lot of players who can step up and will step up when someone tries to stop the Anna and Christina. The team has also been playing some really good defense in the second half of the season so I would definitely not count them out. Forrest can hold their own and MC doesn't have home court advantage which always seems to help them out.

Well from the looks of the last game with Moore which Forrest lost by 7....if Forrest takes care of Rachel Garland (which I think they can), we should win this one like the one we won by 8. Our posts have handled Vann and Raby pretty well over all. If Moore gets in any foul trouble they are hurting as they do not have the depth Forrest does, mostly because of injuries. We have some players who can certainly come in for some quality minutes. I say Forrest comes out playing agressive in your face defense (which they are known for, along with speed and quickness) and the offense will surely follow. Hoping for a great game with two great teams. Good luck to both.....stay healthy, cause win or lose, Loretto and Wayne will be waiting!!! GO LADY ROCKETS!!!!!!!!

Well said aunt kim :) Forrest played very well against Moore County all three times and if i remember right in the second match up we held Garland very well so it can be done so do not count them out for sure we have to play our game and thats the only way we will be victorious! Go Lady Rockets!!!!

Congrats Lady Rockets on your Region 5A Championship tonight! You needed to bring your A game tonight and you brought it! So proud of your solid team effort! Congrats Christina on your Region 5A MVP award. And thank you for not making us travel to Wayne Co on Saturday!!!!

Unbelievable shooting tonight from the Lady Rockets. Moore County got outplayed the entire game. Good Luck to the Rockets against Wayne County. I hope you saved some three balls.

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
