Warrior Clasic starts today, what are some of the "can't miss" games?

 

Several strong middle Tn programs as well as some nationally ranked teams as well. Should be a good tournament.

 

Notable out of state teams to watch: Elyria OH, Hueytown AL, and Alexander Cental NC.

How can we say that Elyria, Ohio is ranked? I know that ESPN has them ranked but they haven't played a game yet this year.

I didn't rank them, ESPN Rise has them ranked 33rd Nationally, Alexander Central NC is currently ranked 10. I don't rank them, I just repeat what ESPN said. Guess it's kinda like pre-season football rankings, usually the ones ranked in the pre-season are ones that proved themselves the previous year.

 

all I stated was that if you want to see some good teams rather than those in your backyard play, the Warrior Classic seems to have some good out of state teams!

My guess at Thursday's Best Match Ups:

Oakland vs Smith Co

Dickson Co vs Hueytown, AL

Blackman vs Coffee Co

Looks like the only good match up so far is Wilson Central and LaVergne.

 

True, some of the finals so far are:

 

Riverdale over Grant County Ky 17-0

Riverdale vs Hendersonville 8-0

Lincoln Co vs Hendersonville 10-0

Wilson Central over Smyrna 10-3

Coffee Co over Blackman 8-1

Lincoln Co over Blackman 9-0

      Not sure what you mean? 40 TOTAL? Macon is a good team no doubt, but I believe they've only scored 35 total points against Uppeeman the last two years, and that's over three games.

      This scenario resonates with the dynamics observed in my hometown of Hartsville. The undue influence of politics on high school sports remains a pervasive issue, detracting from the integrity of athletic programs.  The proliferation of individuals driven by a thirst for power inevitably precipitates the downfall of any program. It appears that we are currently grappling with similar challenges akin to those faced by Greenback. Please accept my condolences for your ordeal.

      From what we are hearing on the reservation we will be lucky to beat sunbright. And trust me I am not throwing stones at them because they play their hearts out. It’s a tuff game every year, just like Oakdale but when you have small numbers that’s what you get. And then you add in that you loose two top linemen and the starting qb!!!! Along with a running back!  We are in deep trouble.

Furthermore, it appears that meeting the expectations of this community remains an unattainable feat, as even a hypothetical scenario of clinching five consecutive state championships would likely not suffice to quell discontent. The current situation is fraught with complications, primarily stemming from applicants for the position who have cultivated relationships with board members known to have opposed the former coach.
