I have seen Riverside. They are in my opinion the best single A team in the west. Trinity is down this year

but could make some noise in region. Huntington has some really good hitters, I haven't seen what they have in the circle. South Fulton is strong in the circle and at the plate, although they did lose to Obion Co. 1-0.

Halls is in the same distric as SF. Halls is a good team this year losing to Lexington 1-0 and SF 4-3. They won against Brighton, Munford, Adamsville, and played Covinton to a 5-5 tie. Halls will play SF at home Thursday to determine who will take the lead in distric 14A.

Riverside won the TP classic in Jackson. They beat Covington 6-2, Munford 2-0 and 6-0. Over all in 6 games they outscored oponents 30-3! They went undefeated in district play and haven't lost to a single A team this year. We feel like this is our year to play in the Boro!

I have seen Riverside play this year and they look very impressive. They have a solid 1 and 2 putching combo and some younger girls who can pitch well. Their lineup is pretty tough all the way through. If they have a downfall it would be the defense. However I do believe they will be taking part in the Spring Fling along with the Riverside baseball team.

The defense is actually a lot better now than earlier in the year. The 2 freshmen have really shored up second base and right field. Team era is 1.09 and team batting average is .361! 27-4 on the season and haven't lost since week 2!
