Camden vs. Waverly

About the only good thing of tonight was the weather, it was nice football weather... Camden looked good, Waverly had problems across the board. We'll see ya next year Lions, unless you make a good play-off run.

Kickoff is at 7:30 I believe and if Waverly cleans house, I will refund you your $6.oo admission and buy you a hot dog and soda to boot!!!

I hated to hear about the injury to Will McLeod in this one. He's an outstanding football player and has sacrificed so much over the last 3 years for the success that Waverly's football team has enjoyed. Waverly has won 11 games over the last 2 and a half seasons and I'd say that McLeod has been the team's most reliable player during that time. Seeing a young man like that go down is sad.

He actually went down in the 1st half of the Riverside game, but like you said, it is very sad.
