No, Union City has always been and will always be a Basketball school. They have had some good periods in football in the last 40 years but have been consistently best in basketball since the 1950's. Some in the area would lead you to believe otherwise, but UC is a basketball school first and foremost.

union city sports have been good all around in preatty much everything and next football season they will be much better and with a bigger senior class and talented underclassmen.

uc has had a total of 8 losing seasons in football since 1970 that 41 years we are the most winningest basketball school in west tennessee but dont forget were the 2nd winningest in football in rural west tennessee its simple union city has SWAG all around
