STAMPEDE WRESTLING CAMP 2012

 

Clinician: Jon Sioredas

-NCAA All-American

-UTC Athletics Hall of Fame

-Assistant Wrestling Coach- University of Tennessee at Chattanooga - 1st Year

-Former Assistant Wrestling Coach- Old Dominion University - 6 Years

-Head Clinician- Granby School of Wrestling - 15th Year

-Co-owner / Operator- Workhorse Wrestling Camps - 7th Year

 

Clinician: Travis Creagan

-Former Columbia University Wrestler

-High School All-American, 2x Tennessee State Champion, 4x place winner

-Bradley High School All-Time Wins Leader

 

Other coaches: Andy Morris (Stampede WC Head Coach), Dustin Catlett (UTC, 2x Tennessee

State Champ, Stampede WC coach), Quantal Langford (UTC, Southern Conference Champion,

Stampede WC coach)

 

When: Friday June 29th (Sessions 1 & 2), Saturday June 30th (Sessions 3 & 4)

 

Daily Schedule: Sessions 1&3 9:30-11:30am, Lunch 11:30-1:00, Sessions 2&4 1:00-3:00

 

Location: Walker Valley High School Gymnasium

 

Fees: $70 per wrestler if you send your entry in by June 22. After June 22 the price will be $75. We will take sign ups at the door if there is room.

All participating wrestlers will receive a camp T-shirt and meals both days between sessions.

    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams. 
    • What do we need to do to help with Mr. Basketball?  
    • With June camps right around the corner, how are programs looking, reloading, any notable underclass coming in?
