Well, there is no love lost between these two teams. Brighton is a new arrival on the Tipton County scene in football, but Covington and Munford have lots of history.

The teams have had winning streaks against each other, but Covington has had the upper hand recently, winning 7 of the last 10 contests between the two. Munford did manage back-to-back wins in 2009 and 2010 while the Covington program was having some rough years. Here is a link to Covington's annual football results.

I hope that the Chargers can add another win to the tally on friday.

I don't think Munford is gonna be a pushover. I saw them looking good at the jamboree. Made me wonder if they were that good or Haywood that bad. Counting the jamboree and week 0, I don't think they have been scored on. But, I expect that to change Friday. I hope White gets it going. It looked like he struggled to get anywhere for the first three quarters at Bolton.

Yeah. Munford looked a lot better than Haywood, for sure. I hope the Chargers are ready to fire on all cylinders for this one.

With no dog in this fight it's seems like a game I'll go see. Both teams are good and love to play each other. Heck isn't it a county rival?

Covington has tricks up its sleeve but Munford may have more plus cougars seem to have depth . Won't be a shortage of confidence in the stadium from either side Munford + 6

    • No replacing 3 all state players. Especially Dozier. He would save Rang when he threw it too much.  heard the coach who won y’all the first Clinton game, by giving it to Dozier enough, left for Red pastures.
