In answer to your "Why didn't Westview beat Covington"? Cause there point guard at the time was out for a long while with two bad ankles, one being fractured. Could you play up to snuff during the regionals in that condition? Not to say they would have still lost, but come on anytime anyone player is hurt that bad, the entire team suffers.

 

Is WesCharge getting to you that bad? He must be stepping on some worried toes. You know, like a cat in a room full of rocking chairs.

 

Gisbson, Westview, Dyer, etc. will get out there and do the best they can. It's ok to build up anyones team, REALLY!

They got beat by 12 by a single A team......Dresden is good, however.

Dyer Co. did not have a very good offensive game yesterday because they were focusing on defensive. Dresden is a great team. Dyer Co. did win however the 2nd game

Well, i don't know what game you saw, but westview played their regular 5 that night against covington. Don't try to make excuses for them. Covington was the hottest team going. And everybody knew it. I don't understand why people don't give covington the respect they deserve. Well, if you want to see a good game go to gibson tomorrow and see covington against gibson. Of course gibson would want payback considering the lost they received in the reg. semi-finals

If you had read the post correctly, it stated that the point guard played with two lamed ankles. Never was said that the same 5 was not playing together. By the way, not an excuse, just a fact. There is a difference!

Dyer co. scrimmages Chester Co. today! Good luck girls!!

Dyer County did great. They lost by 1 point. Chester County has a really good team. Dyer County also beat Southside this week by 6 points. Suzanne, Abby & Sara Jo keeping DC strong.

Dyer Co. will scrimmage South Fulton Friday and then be prepared to begin their season Saturday night at the Dyersburg jamboree. They will play Northside at 6:30 Saturday. Dyer Co. has been doing a great job during preseason workouts. They have really improved and are learning to play together. Good luck this year girls continue to work hard and STAY FOCUSED..
