Final. SH-60 Elizabethton-37. Lady Toppers only led by 4 at the half, 26-22 but pulled away in the second half. Actually, I guess I should say they pulled away in the 4th quarter. Score was 39-28 heading in the 4th quarter.

Tuesday night at SH the Lady Cyclones will give the Toppers all they can handle. The Cyclones play as a team and it's a big game for them. This could be a war. Hilltoppers don't respond well when teams get physical. My pick is cyclones 45 SH 43. Hilltoppers lose it at foul line. Should be a great game! Both teams well coached and will be prepared. Hope to be able to travel that far Tuesday to watch.

Good game. The twins had their way early but found the treading a lot harder the second half, the game was over by the fourth cause of the pressure SH applied. Can't wait till January

Betsy played well early.  Lyon and Tartar both got in a little foul trouble.  Science Hill kind of sleep walked through 2 and a half quarters.  Then they kicked it up a notch and Tartar and Lyon dominated the game.  Elizabethton needs to develop a third scoring option and diversify their half-court offense once the defense starts shutting it down.  Both teams will get better and should be very good in their respective classifications.
