Sixth Annual Bristol Brawl Border Championship

Sunday January 5, 2014

Bristol, Tennessee

 

An All Star K-8 tournament featuring high quality competition from across the Mid-Atlantic Region.

 

Registration Cost: $20 -- Second division for additional $10, only 1 weight class per division. Pay online.

 

Overweight wrestlers must bump up to next weight class and pay $25 re-bracketing fee—no exceptions.

 

Weigh in onsite Sunday 7-8 a.m.

 

Wrestling begins at 9:30 a.m. for all divisions.

 

Tots - born 2008 or earlier; Bantam - 2006-07; Midget - 2004-2005; Junior 2002-03; Middle School 1999-2001

 

NO CARDS REQUIRED!!

 

As always special awards for all Champions! Medals will be awarded through 4th place.

 

Location: Viking Hall, 1112 Edgemont Ave, Bristol, TN 37620

20,000 square foot facility with seating for over 6,000. Up to 8 mats.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
