Ready for some football.....only a couple more weeks until fall camps open.  Just want to see if we can get some dialogue started.

1.) Will Knox Webb continue to be the top of the class?

2.) Friendship should have a new freshmen quarterback along with 2 experienced RBs.

3.) Will BGA be up to par since the upset playoff loss?

4.) Will FRA be able to compete for a playoff spot?

5.) Can DCA build on last year's momentum?

6.) DA has a new coach with his son probably playing wherever is needed to compete.....Will that be enough to take a step forward?

7.) Ezell - will they have more than 20 players?

8.) MJCA - Coach Davis's rookie season as a Saint.

Thoughts?

Thoughts?

1.) Knox Webb will be very good for another year. Lot's of good linemen, Beeler (good athlete) to QB, and good RB's, but not like last year.

2.) Friendship has to get better to keep up with everyone else. We will see how much they have improved from last year's fairly inexperienced team that had some high profile players.

3.) BGA is going to be a force to reckon with. When the Wildcats match up against the Spartans we will find out if they can make a legitimate run. Most of their starters are back on each side of the ball. Combine that with good coaching and you have a fine team.

4.) FRA returns 1 offensive lineman, but has every skill guy back except their fullback, which was a good player. The Panthers have lots of playmakers, but could be in for a long year in the trenches. Whittemore is smart and will figure out a way to utilize his teams strengths.

5.) DCA is going to be a contender. They return 3 offensive linemen, every RB, and all but 1 receiver. If Goodwin can replace Reddick at QB, then the sky is the limit for the Wildcats.

6.) Davidson will most certainly be better. Most of their line returns along with some of their key skill guys. Match that with new life being pumped in by Coach Quinn and the Bears can be dangerous.

7.) Ezell-Harding: The biggest difference between Ezell and Davidson is the athletes the Eagles have on the roster. Ezell has 5-6 skill players that any team would love to have, but the trenches will be an entire different story. These two play early and could leave an impression early on which program has improved the most.

8.) MJCA is back to the drawing board. They will be very young with kids that had success in middle school, but it will take a few years for that to translate over to winning on Friday Nights.

9.) King's Academy was left off the list, but allow me to add them. They have some good skill players returning (one of the best in Maduafokwa) and a good coach. They upset Ezell last year and are probably looking to do the same in 2014 and add a few more victims to the list.

Overall, I believe Division IIA will be more competitive in the Middle/East Regions with several teams looking to make some noise and a run to Cookeville.
