Lincoln County has a rich tradition in Tennessee high school football. The program started in 1979 and since then has posted a record of 199 wins and 81 losses, that's 72% of their games. Post Season appearances include:

Lions Bowl (Won 21-0 over Riverdale)

Boyce Smith Bowl (Won 7-0 over Franklin)

State Champions (Beat Gallatin 13-10 in OT)

-1986 State Playoffs (Quarterfinalists in 1986)

State Playoffs (Lost to Oakland in Semi-Finals)

Lions Bowl (Beat Overton 14-6)

State Champions (Beat Germantown 25-13)

State Playoffs

State Champions (Beat Riverdale 20-7)

-2002 State Playoffs

That's 21 post season appearances in 24 years, with a record of 26 wins and 15 losses. Their 3 State Championship wins came against the likes of Riverdale, Gallatin, and Germantown. All three of those temas are considered as the best teams in State history. Lincoln County has developed 4 Mr. Football winners: David Grogan in 1993, Chad Henderson in 1994, Antonio Manning in 1996, and Jay Thompson in 1997. As of 2001, 57 Falcon football players have been awarded scholarships. If this doesn't qualify a team for the title of the BEST, then something's wrong with the standards.
