Hows the jackets gonna look this year? I see cak and alcoa have alot of players back.so does Kingston, those freshmen are finally juniors and seniors,and idea how they will do this year?

UHS folks told me this spring Kingston looked pretty solid, and a good sized OL and DL.

Yea our qb is back.rb.and plenty of more starters.we played hard all year last yr.had a couple close games we lost or could of made the playoffs.hopefully this yr we can get a few more wins and start building a contender again.its been too long.

Kingston had their way with us in the early 70's when they hit their stride, and they still gave Alcoa two tough battles in 1989 and 1990 when we hit ours.

 

I doubt Kingston will contend with Alcoa in the near future, but the Jackets obviously won't go down without a fight.

Yea I was in elementary school in 89. Remember that game like it was yesterday.that game was the state championship game.I'm glad we have stability now at coach players love him.play hard for him.I think we can make it to playoffs this yr.but like always schedule is going to be tough in this region.I'm just glad to be posting again I took time off and seems like I may be the only Kingston guy on here.

I haven't seen many others, so someone does have to speak up for them. Remind me why Blair Harrison didn't work out? He seemed to be a good coach (at the time).

Harrison was a good coach. But alumni.politics got in the way.he made kids work there rear end off. He wanted to open up the checkbook.people didn't like that.but he was a good coach.

I hate when good ol' boy politics interfere with what the kids are trying to accomplish, but I'm glad to hear they like their coach now.

Still rotating between Jaylen Myers and Mitchell McClurg as far as I know.
