Team Axis is a high school age baseball team that will host tryouts on August 1 at 10:00 am at the Diamond Elite Baseball Facility in Columbia. Team Axis has placed over 100 players in colleges in the past 11 years. Our team plays all over the southeast including playing in Puerto Rico. Our facility has a lighted outdoor turf infield, a inside turf field and a hitting building with five cages. We are a smartkage evaluation site that does the testing on most of the minor league athletes and several major league players in the game today. We will play some fall games for evaluation purposed to assess the players needs for training through the winter. Players are tested every 6 weeks to identify development and needs of improvement. Joe Rodriguez ( cardinals) is the pitching coordinator for the program and we have two mlb scouts who test, work with and monitor our players.
