Chicken is right and yes double teaming can work but you got to mix it up with him on the line of scrimmage- you can't play five yards off and let him run down the field.

Yeah, double teams work when you don't have to worry about the rest of the field....

 

Try that and Garrison or another of their (2) go to recievers will burn you on passing routes over the middle and down the opposite sideline. And leaving them one on one without a safety cover will almost assure a TD for CA.

 

Trust me, Thompson is good. OK, double him, take him out at the line of scrimmage, but folks, Thompson isn't all CA has as a passing threat.
