Math has nothing to do with a confident statement saying a game was a toss up. Facts Only you couldn't be further from the truth. Imo. It's a lot better proving your rankin on the field. I truly do pull for the underdog in most cituations. Have a lot respect for HS football across the state. Some mid state fans imo don't.

I'm telling you, the math argument is not going to work.  You have to put Alcoa and Maryville first or they just will not understand.

It is just numbers based on prior performance.  He is not making a measure of greatness.  If you applied the same formula, you'd get the exact results, you'd get the same answer if you put the right numbers in the calculator.

 

The weatherman may say there is a 70% chance of rain.  Doesn't mean it will or will not rain. Just means that, based on prior similar available information, there is a 7 in 10 chance it will this time.  If that weatherman had the same record as Laz, he'd be considered a prodigy real good weatherman.

 

But please, please keep arguing this point.  I need a little levity something to laugh about this morning after the tooling Henry County took last night (unfortunately, one of Laz's correct predictions).
