Middle School and Elementary School Programs

Having been put in charge of rebuilding the youth wrestling programs at Maryville, I'm curious to find out how many programs have girls participating.

 

The said, I recognize that girls wrestling could generate a lot of interest in the sport in general and having a diverse program is never a bad thing. We have a few girls now interested in participating, but I would like to get a better idea of which clubs have girls already participating themselves and what their experience has been getting their female wrestlers outside competition.

Several teams in the big 9 conference (Tri-Cities area) have at least a couple of girls Happy Valley, Sevier, Ross N Robinson, Church Hill, and Jonesborough all have at least one. I know Northview Academy has a couple as well because they wrestled at my place tonight.
