Both sides of the district should be highly competitive this season. Thoughts?

District Standings:

 

Waverly (6-0)

Montgomery Central (4-2)

Creek Wood (5-3)

Camden (1-5)

Stewart County (0-6)

 

East Hickman (4-2)

Hickman County (3-3)

Lewis County (3-3)

Fairview (2-4)

 

 

The South seeds are set. East Hickman will be the #1 seed. Hickman County will be the #2 seed based on total runs (beat LCHS). Lewis County will be the #3 seed. Fairview is the #4 seed.

 

The North is where it gets interesting. Waverly needs one win against Montgomery Central to be the #1 seed. If Montgomery Central wins both games they'll be the #1 seed. If Montgomery Central wins one game they'll be the #2 seed. If Montgomery Central fails to win a game against Waverly then they'll be the #3 seed and Creek Wood will be the #2 seed. Creek Wood is the #3 seed otherwise. The play-in game will be held on 5/1/17 and it will feature Camden vs Stewart County. If Stewart County wins both games against Camden next week then the game will be at SCHS. If Camden wins at least one of the two games (they won't have to win both) then the game will be at Camden.

I have not followed this district hardly at all this year, really out of the loop. East Hickman is in 1st place? Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Ray Ragan take that job after Parker left for greener pastures? Glad to see East finally be competitive after all these years.
