17u Six1Five Team Mizuno is looking to add players to our roster for the upcoming 2018 summer travel ball season. We will be playing in college exposure tournaments throughout the Middle Tennessee area as well a couple out of town tourneys. Experienced players are encouraged to try out for a position on our team. We will be looking to add pitchers, outfielders, and infielders. We are fine with PO's if this what the player feels they want to do. However, we believe players should be experienced in more than one position. Our mission is to help players learn proper fundamentals and mechanics, work together as team, and to be ready to excel at the next level. Tryouts will be held at the Mount Juliet Six1Five training facility on 02/11 at 3pm (Address is 139 Lineberry Blvd, Mt. Juliet, 37122) . Call or Text Coach Hayes at 615-512-4813 with any questions or if a private tryout is needed. Look forward to seeing everyone there and having a great summer season.

    • What’s sad Barney is the cards in the deck are stacked against them.  With the success the MAVS are having just down I-75, any talented players are heading that way. I always said what the Price twins did there was second to none, making the playoffs and winning a playoff game is the ceiling there. On a great year, maybe a q-final appearance but that is a big stretch.  Finding a coach there is very tough. I feel for the new coach, he’s in a very bad situation and I’m not sure he even realizes it. I understand he wants to be positive and have hope, but I don’t see them scratching a win. Maybe he will prove me wrong.
    • I agree, 2A is the only class in thet state where the west side of the bracket is tougher, not taking anything away from Marion county at all but they should run that side for years to come
    • Should be a big week in Dayton coming up with the 100th anniversary of the Scopes Monkey Trial.
    • AE has a lot of new transfers and a very good incoming freshman class to mess with the current players.  That's why I'm saying don't sleep on AE.  Many are thinking they can't get back to their winning ways but I think this 2025 team will open a lot of eyes and let the state know, AE won't be an easy win anymore.
