New to Basketball

I spent most of my childhood and teenage years at home (being a home buddy) due to the reason that my parents were strict before allowing me to go outside. Thus, I wasn't able to play basketball as a kid, but rather focus on my academics. But as I grew older, I suddenly had this realization to fulfill some stuff I never did before. Is it too late to learn to play basketball at the age of 21?
