Hats off to Cannon County who needed a win here to keep their playoff hopes alive & they played like it...

It was a tough, physical game that saw a dozen players go down banged up.

D. Byford made great decisions all night

Cascade DC & Defense made all the right adjustments & shut-out the Lions in the 2nd half--I think big #88 had one catch for the game (1st half) (TD of course)

Cascade Special teams has been stellar all season--I don't think they have given up a big return all season & H. Dowell & S. Burris both had nice returns vs. the lions- in seasons past, on balls that should have been a fair catch, the Champions would let the ball hit the ground & roll-often times-the wrong way--now they are making the catch & when possible, taking off... There were two uncharacteristic missed FG's, but no shame there because the wind was gusting like something out of a pirate tale.  Nice win--two more for the region championship & #1 seed...
