NSIndiansFan
North Side's worst game in over two years. North Side came out sloppy. They could not block out anyone on rebounds. South Side took North Side completely out of their game. South Side had 18 rebounds in the first half. North Side shot 38% in the first half. The score at half was 43-28 South Side. In the secod half North Side came out playing a little better but not much. North Side shot 41% on the night. The final score was 77-64 North Side. If they continue to play like this they will lose up till Christmas because they play a tough Ripley team away Friday, a great Bolivar team Monday, and then a Henry County team that they already lost too. But a highlight of tonight's game was the debut of Reggie Corbin, a transfer from JCM. TSSAA allowed him to start playing on Varsity this week. He played about 8 minutes but he had 4 points and 6 rebounds. He is a big guy who will get some time at the 5 spot. Phillip Duventure had 6, Ramone Williams had 2, Richard Delk had 19, Jerrell Shanklin had 6, Reginald Delk had 20, Dell Coleman had 2, ad Regie COrbin had 4. They had better get it together for Ripley.
gomab2
Man, I hate hearing this about Northside..... This is one of my favorite teams in the entire state, not to mention one of the most talented..... For the year now, Reginald Delk is averaging 18.8 ppg and Richard Delk is averaging 16.5 ppg..... I think I am going to make the trip out to Ripley on Friday night to check them out..... As Nothsidefan said, they had better get things turned around quickly with that schedule coming up.... Opperman
The road to state goes through Memphis, Ysp, and I don't see Northside making it past there.
NSIndiansFan
North Side has the potential to go all the way to state if they play hard. This team is still about oe year away from being a top notch state defender, but they might go far this year. Everyone will just have to wait and see what happens.
