Three teams from two of the toughest districts in middle Tennessee have advanced to the semifinals of the Deep South Classic in Atlanta.

 

Shelbyville, Riverdale and Lawrence County all won their respective quarterfinal games on Friday, meaning all three move on to the semis. Shelbyville meets Riverdale in one semifinal Saturday night, guaranteeing at least one TN team in the championship on Monday. Lawrence County caught a break when nationally-ranked Narbonne (Ca.) was beaten in their quarterfinal. The Lady Cats will face another team out of Georgia for their shot at the championship game earlier Saturday evening.
