What TN High School player from last year has made the biggest impact this year as a College Freshman???

as a walk-on down at auburn university, danny wicke wont see much playing time this year.. but there is talk about him getting a scholarship for next year.. and dont be suprised to see him getting a lot of positive minutes in the SEC next year

Joey Knight (freshman last year) Rookie of the year. Highpoint. Scored 40 against Vandy this year. Played at Columbia Central.

This is apparently focusing on guys who went D-I, but Pickett County's Nathan Aaron is playing quite well for NAIA Freed-Hardeman as the starting 2 guard (11.5 PPG, 1.9 RPG, 2.7 APG)

That's great to hear about both Wicke and Aaron... Good luck to both players.....

 

Knight is a major impact player, but he is not a Freshman this year, and was not a Tn HS hooper last year...

 

Clyde Wade (Memphis) and Glenn Eaddy (Colorado) are two previous Tn HS hoopers that are now NCAA Freshmen after stops in Prep School....

I must say that after watching Pearson again on Sat get outplayed by Fr Watson, and seeing Hunt a few times for Memphis this year, that Jeremy Hunt is the best Tn High School College Freshman this year....... I always loved his game, and had him Top 3 in his class with Pearson and Byars.... Hunt is really playing like a special, special player, and I just hope his ankle gets better.....

Another one that walked on somewhere was Nick Losh from Ooltewah. He walked on at Lee College in Cleveland. They are a very good small basketball program.

Gomab, do you have an update on JUCO players like D. Polk, T. Moy, M. Bright, T. Barr, A. Burchett and A. Williams who definately have Division I talent?

Taurean Moy is at Angelina JC in Texas, last I heard, still trying to get himself straightened out. Hasn't played any basketball yet, as far as I know.

Someone told me over Christmas that Marcus Bright who is currently at Palm Beach C.C. (FL) was probably going to sign with Pepperdine. I thought that he might have been headed to the Big East. Again, it's just a rumor that I heard. Someone from Westview may have more information.
