York defeats Jackson Co.

The game was never close Derrick Ledbetter proved tonight that he is the best player in the district and has more potential than any kid I have seen come through York since Paxton Smith. I once said in a earlier post that I was indecisive about him or Mathis but now after watching Ledbetter dominate Meadows all over the floor and dunking on him and a couple of other blue devils there is no doubt that he is the MVP of District 7AA and he is only a sophomore.

when you talk about the best in the district josh stephens name should always be mentioned hands down the best shooter.

i haven't seen this ledbetter kid, i heard he is tall and can rebound really well. i still think meadows or mathis.

Ledbetter is not really a better player than meadows or mathis but he rebounds a lot more than these to probably combined.After seeing him play the other night against jackson county he really surprised me.Im not changing my mind about the MVP of district 7AA just yet.

dont get me wrong Ledbetter is one of the best in the district but i dont think he could compete with Meadows or Mathis.
