Sarah Riddle

Can anyone give the status of Sarah Riddle? She was injured after a hard collision with Nikki Hughes of Blackman on Tuesday. She did not play against Riverdale Friday. How serious is her injury?

Slight tear of the MCL....status for the remainder of the season is still unclear after a questionable "run-in" with another player from an opposing team.

I was at the game and I thought the "run-in" was some what questionable as well.

Sorry to here Sarah is injured. Our prayers are with her and we hope she is able to play next week against Lebanon. Was this wreck caused by the same girl that was ejected from the Blackman v. Lebanon game for throwing a punch? I heard she was pitched last year for the same sort of crap. The game is rough enough without the none basketball cheap stuff.

Yes it's the same girl. She was tossed last year vs. Oakland when she punched a girl in the back. In the Oakland game after she punted Sarah Riddle, she tackled Jenna Webb and recieved an intentional foul. Then she got tossed vs. Lebanon for hitting a girl in the back of the head. Sounds like she's got problems!

I am looking for the latest on Sarah Riddle's injury. I heard she was going to a specialist last week and had an MRI. I would appreciate an update.

As for the cause of her injury, I have seen a copy of a tape of her incident and other incidents involving the same girl from Blackman,injury was no accident. Blackman should get this girl off the court before she ends someone's carrier.

Sarah has a sevierly torn mcl in her right elbow. She will be out for two or more weeks while it is given a chance to heal.This means that she will miss the rest of the regular season but will be able to play AAU. Thank you for your concern for Sarah, we all hope that she can get better soon.

To the AD and Coaches at Blackman, you should really take a look at the type of play you are permitting on your team. If this type of sneaky dirty play is allowed to continue, it will do nothing but hurt the reputation of your school and program.

To the AD and Coaches at Oakland. From all indications three of your players were assaulted on your home court. I would hope that you do everything in your power to respond to this blatant insult to you, your team and your school.
