How did practice go today??

Just an old fat guy missing the fact the he is no longer able to play the game.

 

I wonder if you guys went through the same jitters and emotions that I did in High School.

 

How did it go, what did you do?

We (Fairview) were out of school b/c of snow, so the field was snowy and wet... and since we didnt have school we didnt practice but hopefully we will do something tomorrow if it warms up!!!!!

Riverdale High School was also out of school for snow monday, but they braved the cold and had a 4 hour practice. Its gonna take a little more than a little snow and cold weather to stop these warriors.

LaVergne was also out due to snow, but they practiced for close to 4 hours. Working hard to repeat as State Champs, and to show that Coach Reavis will continue to give everything he has to his team while he's with them! (And to prove that the boys will continue to give all they've got!!)

The sun is shining and it's a great day for baseball...except that Lenoir City will be waiting for the end of basketball before they get their 2 top catchers and 2 of their top 3 pitchers handling the hardball. Sorry, coach Mitchell, I'm ready for an early exit from the district basketball tournament so that I can start smelling the grass and hearing the ping of the bat (crack of the bat when I was playing; dang, I'm getting old).
