I don't know about anybody else but I'm tired of seeing all pictures of Dustin, Darryl and Jeffrey Culberson. We should have pictures of players that actually play. Don't get me wrong, Jeffrey should be in there but so should Luke and Johnny. And every once in a while my family wants to see me in the paper too.

GoMab, whom I haven't a clue of his identity or importance, has once again disrespected the Panthers with a severe blow to their midsection in his final Team Rankings. This after the Panthers and Coach Johnson had an incredible week and a half where Lewis County absolutely whipped the powerful Summertown Eagles on the road; convincingly defeated the #1 A team in the state (PC) at their place; goes home to fend off the highly respected Santa Fe Wildcats and then traveled to Lawrenceburg (AAA) to pull out a win in the final seconds.

 

What makes absolutely no sense, to this old man anyway, is how he can rank Hillcrest, Fayette-Ware, and Humbolt in the top 20 while leaving out Lewis County, who finished second in District 9AA behind the almighty Giles County Bobcats. To add insult to injury he even leaves the Panthers off his Honorable Mention list while placing teams like Portland, Loudon, Sheffield, Union City, and Springfield on it.

 

I have praised the Panthers play all year long and believe they should have only 4-5 losses right now. They are playing very well and will advance to the region tournament this year. I am predicting a District Finals matchup in Panther Gymnasium of Giles County vs. Lewis County with Lewis County walking out with the win. Everyone will think I'm crazy but it is possible, especially if every basketball fan in Hohenwald will show up and cheer their team on. So come out next week and show your support, and let's show GoMab how strongly we feel about our Panthers.

NEMI people, whoever you are, I hope you bring all you've got because you seem real loyal and supportive of your classmates and team.

i agree with corvette and i too am sick of seeing the culberson's in the paper, the rest of the team deserve's to be in there, they all work hard...not just the culberson's

i flippin and trippin when i read tha sportz in tha paper. i payz 50 rocks to see my doggz faces and then see tha twin monsteers. they not even goodz. tha shizzo needz some frizzo for my hizzo. straigt up boyz.

MrHonesty u dont have to worry cause wadata and sadatay will be there givin out our nemi award and by th way Jon Lavett won a nemi for his great performance against Lawrance Co.

i just read today's paper and there was an article in there where jon lavett spoke about his amazing block, this is what he had to say: "well she picked my pocket when she took my music stand and when i got it back she called me a f-n retard and threw that can at me, but i got my hand up just in time to knock it back all in her grill." Jon also spoke of his nemi awards: "to wadata and sadatay i appreciate the awards i would like to dedicate them to all my tippi ti's out there." I also see where Jon has been postin on here...u'd better watch out before Coach gets ya...he's got the eagle eye out on you.

Even though Downtown Darryl Culberson is my hero, I'll admit him and his brother do get in the paper a lot and I can't remember the last time I saw Johnny in it. I haven't seen today's yet, but maybe it has changed. I guess we could go talk to Donald about this problem. I told him to take a picture of me at one games but he wouldn't, that little punk. lol
