Whatever happened to Chris Jones, one of the numerous talented players on the 1997 1A state champs, Perry County?

Chris is currently living in Linden doing as little as possible. He went to Columbia State Community College and played ball for a little while, but was too lazy to keep his grades up and too lazy to play ball for that matter. A total waste of good talent.

Yes, Chris is still in Linden, but he is making a living. He was a great athlete, but I wouldn't consider him a total waste. Lots of people all around the state got enjoyment out of watching Chris play basketball. Not every good player out of high school goes and plays at the next level and I hope we don't call all of these atlhetes a waste.
