COACH HAL'S 'SHOOTOUT'.

 

This is a drill that serves many useful purposes for me as an

instructor. It is also a very fun game that my students love to play. It builds confidence, speeds up a pitcher's motions, speeds up their defensive and self-defense reaction time and is an excellent tactic to use against the batters they face. If you have a pitcher that is "Gunshy" from being hit by a batted ball, this is an excellent way to build their confidence back up.
