The Maryville Lady Rebels softball team have a unique and special bond with one another. The team consists of these players:Gretchen Prugh, Lisa Fekete, Alicia Vance, Nikki Hickman, Stephanie Cope, Michelle Niethammer, Brooke Stinnett, Amy Wilks, Bradi Bryan, Becca Giles, Breanne Anderson, Lauren Ridenour, Leslie Hatten, Kerri Hughes, Jennifer Bush, Whitney Reisser, Elizabeth Regan, Brooke Melton, Lindsey Little, Katie Coode, Lacey Foxhall. These girls have faced adversity and come out on top! Their hard work and dedication has definatly payed off! They kept their composure in the William Blount game, where they came from below to claim a victory! Their teamwork truly shows! :)

The TEAM really came together during the William Blount game. I was really proud to see them rally from being down in the game. Everyone pulled together to show what they are made of.

I am very close to the program and it became very apparent to me that although Ms. Cope does have her issues she is working very hard to be the vocal leader on the team. She works very hard to encourage her teammates is constantly looking for ways to improve her game.

If she stays focused "on the game", I believe that she has the potential to be one of the best softball players to ever grace a Maryville High School jersey.

Good luck to her and the entire Maryville team. The team is comprised of truly blessed young ladies, a coaching staff that is fiercely dedicated to them and a fan following that loves them very much.

Keep up the great work, ladies. It is a true joy to watch you play and grow!!!! See ya in Memphis.

      Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

      West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.

      I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.

      I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!

      Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
