Hendersonville vs Beech

This was an excellent game. Came down to the final inning and the final at bat for Hendersonville, who lost 2-1. With one out an runners on first an third in the top of the seventh, Jessie Bain was up. With two strikes on her, she was signaled to bunt for a possible suicide squeeze. She fouled of the pitch for a third strike, and the second out. Casey Teal grounded out to second to end the game. Im guessing Stanfill pitched for Beech, since i cant remember what # she is or what she looked like , and Heather Tucker pitched for Hville. Both pitched great games.

gotta agree red, it was a good game, had good drama and

suspense all the way.

both teams played pretty much the same, had good plays when

they had to overcome bad plays, had some good defense, some

bad defense (both had a lot of errors it seemed), a few

good hits sprinkled in for good measure, and some decent

pitching.

 

hats off to beech for making the plays and doing what had

to be done to win. hopefully will see you again in the

district.

I was looking for you today actually, knowing you would be there. I was wearing a gold HHS Soccer shirt. I think you guys should do well in the district, and hopefully meet Beech. They showed today that they can play. Besides a few errors in the infield, it was a good game.

Twas a very good game...Hendersonville had their chances to win. There were several errors by both teams very uncharacteristic for such well-coached teams. FP ya'll let one get away today.

yeah, I guess, gv. We had two good chances but could

not get our runners in from third. Y'all had a good

chance also when Amber hit her triple (best hit of the

game), and got stranded on third as well.

anyway, maybe we will get another chance in the next

couple of weeks.
